MALI Lima Art Museum

Competition entry for a new 60,000sf contemporary art wing for the Lima Art Museum. At the plaza level, the project creates a series of episodic public and social spaces defined by the building components exposed above grade, which extend to the height of the existing Palace’s plinth. Below grade, the repetitive construction modules form top-lit galleries, classrooms, offices, and back-of-house spaces.
